When FireStar was just a kit his mother died protecting him and his siblings.The badger and his mother fought long and hard, but the badger eventually won and he killed his mother as well as his 2 sisters. He and his only brother grew up alone, doing everything together.His brother, HopeWind, died -- chased off a cliff by a dog. His body was never found.
